Day 15: My Favorite Food
"Smashed Potato" is not named mashed potato at J Alexander's in Ohio. I have several No. 1s for me in my life in Ohio I'd stayed and it is one of them. I've never had such yummy mashed potato in my life. I would love to know what is the difference and want to go back there just for this Smashed Potato. Of course this steak was really great as well!
OMG! That looks so good to me right now. I have a thing for mashed potatoes and mushroom gravy, mostly the gravy. I shouldn't have looked at this right before lunch.
ReplyDeleteThat looks delicious indeed. I love mashed potatoes and gravy. These days in Canada I'm avoiding beef.
ReplyDeleteSmashed potatoes - oh boy - I think a trip to OH is definitely in order.
ReplyDeleteWe have a restaurant that serves smashed potatoes, but I can't remember which one it is! That meal looks very good.
ReplyDeleteMy lord, that looks good. Awesome choice, Coco.
ReplyDeleteNice photo. Wow, I'm really hungry.
ReplyDeleteI love smashed potatoes! And I love steak! A perfect pairing!
ReplyDeletei'm down with those mashed potatoes. mmmm mm. looks good.
ReplyDeleteI puffy-heart smashed potatoes!
ReplyDeleteI think smashed potatoes is skins and all with the sour cream and butter thrown in...just a guess...but that's how I love 'em!
ReplyDeleteI don't like mushrooms, but that looks delicious even with the mushrooms!
ReplyDeleteI've always called what I make 'smashed potatoes' because, um, I just have? And I smash 'em up good and don't add anything except salt, pepper, milk, butter, and a whole lot of hip.
ReplyDeleteThese looks delicious. Here's hoping those are skins and not something that detracts from the purity of taste of those smashers.
Ours were SMUSHED potatoes LOL... yours look much better!
ReplyDeleteOk, that just looks CRAZY good.
