Day 30: Blackout
It happened 3 times last winter. Dogs were fine and lights were back in 2 hours each. Hope it won't happen this year. It might be very hard without heating in -25C (-13F) as there is no fireplace in this apartment. But candle lights are nice as I hardly ever light candles in Japan, afraid of earthquakes. It's true!
Great picture! Keep safe & warm!!!!
ReplyDeleteWow, I never thought of the fact that candles and earthquakes don't go together too well.. Anyway, this is a great photo, Coco, and I want to thank you for participating in our challenge. It's been so much fun looking at your photos every day and reading the odd comment about Japan. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat pic, Coco. I've enjoyed your contribution to this 30 day exercise.
ReplyDeleteLove how you interpreted this prompt...it was a hard one for me.
ReplyDeleteGlad you're safe Coco. Best of luck when you make it back to Japan.
ReplyDeleteThat is FASCINATING! The candles and earthquakes. WOW! And what a lovely picture!
ReplyDeleteIt's been great doing the challenge with you, Coco, and I hope your plans for Canada and Japan work out as you'd like. It must be hard being caught between two places, but you seem to weather it well. :)
ReplyDeleteWell done, glad you joined in!
