Day 17: Coins
Top: Japanese coins: 1, 5, (10), 50, 100, 500 yen
Middle: American coins:1, 5, 10, 25 cent(s)
Bottom: Canadian coins: 1, 5, 10, 25 cent(s), 1, 2 dollar(s)
After staying for 1 year and 11 months in Canada, I still don't get used to use a quarter and 5 cents combination. But it doesn't take for 45 seconds like when I came here. Today, 0.8 yen almost = 1 cent (US/Canada). I think I should have polished them before taking this photo!
very very cool. and I actually like them better unpolished.
ReplyDeleteOh, I love the Japanese coins, they're really pretty.
ReplyDeleteSome gunslinger shot a hole in a couple of your coins.
ReplyDeleteI like the flowers on the coins! Pretty!
ReplyDeleteI wish we had coins with holes in the middle. It would be fun to string them together.
ReplyDeleteThe Japanese coins are by far the prettiest. I've always been a sucker for Canadian coins but that's because I've been seeing them all my life. All of them are so much more elegant that US coins.
ReplyDeleteThose are truly beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI love Japanese and Chinese money. It's much more stylish than American money. Also, harder to spend. I need money that's not so easy to spend.
